THE LIGHT OF PEACE
The Light of Peace and Hope shines on the beloved
land furrowed by wounded edges where
Poverty lives naked.
There are undressed ladies
with eyes wide open
On the sidewalks full of corpses
with anxiety he feeds inside the garbage
with rotting food such as stale bread crumbs as if they were for stray dogs.
But the Light of Peace and Hope triumphs: it travels all over the world, on the roads where the poor and the sick pass.
He passes there like a torchlight procession to tell his beloved Earth to stop suffering.
He fed the poor in abundance
with the light of hope.
The ocean light emerges and fills the cracks in the souls of the sick,
wherever they are.
Embracing the light,
Everyone recovers from the evils of the century:
Disease and poverty!
